1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, creating maps of rooms and floors.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which comprises linoleum flooring in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms and also a large rugs and a medium-pile. It was able to drive close to walls and even across thresholds that are raised without issue. However it was a bit difficult getting down the stairs in one go. Ecovacs All-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is an effective solution for cleaning. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction and offers numerous unique features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstacles and cleans furniture. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mops actually lift the floor and scrub it instead of just drag a pad across a surface. Mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station if required.
The robot comes with a simple interface that guides you through the process. It comes with a hand vacuum that recharges to reach those areas the robot isn't able to reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and refilled whenever required. It delivers outstanding cleaning results and is simple to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the best robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush will ensure an effective, customized cleaning is achieved.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It works equally well on hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our test's most filthy areas well, and keeping pet hairs from getting caught in knots and other messes. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extendable mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.
Its navigation is smart that can navigate narrow spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It is able to move from one room to the next without needing to reverse the direction. This is useful for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than some competitors, and leaves a huge margin between obstacles. This can lead to miss-hit spots.
The interface of the app is easy to use and well-organized. It should be simple to use for both novices and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, change the suction power and mopping settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also use the X40 Ultra's camera remotely for real-time video monitoring. However, you will require a reliable Wi-Fi connection to operate it via the app as well as external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 Pro
Robot vacuums are fantastic at removing dirt and debris, but they aren't able to reach every bit of dust. It comes with a smart app that lets you schedule cleanings and choose the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling and washing system that is hands-free.
The mops also stand out with its 2700Pa capacity to tackle dirt and pet hair on carpets as well as hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested to not have issues with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it was able to not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising as it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also uses a unique mapping system that helps it reach corners and tight places that other vacuums can't. The K10 Plus also has the bin, which means you don't need to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters, which can further cut costs.
